Kate

Hi. My name is Kate Brodock, and this page is a place where I can record my random thoughts, as I have many of them.  I’ll try and focus on different aspects of my life, but really, it’s going to be just a day-to-day (although I may skip a few) occurrences and musings.

A little bit about me:  I was born and raised in the middle of nowhere outside of Syracuse, NY and now live in Boston (although I’ll be forced to suck up the Atlanta heat for one more semester….).  I’m currently getting a dual degree consisting of an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and an MA in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.  I received a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Rochester in Western New York (not much different than Syracuse, still a lot of snow in the winter).

My career focus is somewhat open, but it’s leaning towards entrepreneurship and/or marketing with a definite focus on international business.  I have about 3 years of experience in technology transfer and entrepreneurship.  Outside of that, I’m a non-professional musician (cello and piano… I wish I could quit the real world and play music for the rest of my life), I love the outdoors (hiking, biking, I race in triathlons, although I’m definitely not competitive), and consider myself a pretty happy person.   No complaints here….
